Leupold Sports Optics RX-II 6x23 Laser Rangefinder with True Ballistic Range
America's Optics Authority
Introducing RX Digital Laser Rangefinders from Leupold..
The RX-II, the ultimate rangefinder for bow hunters, offers rifle and bow
hunters True Ballistic Range measurements out to 750 yards, as well as the
Match 13 Reticle System.

Completely unlike other rangefinders, all four models in the
new RX Series are packed with multiple, customizable
functions. These are much more than glorified tape measures.
True Ballistic Range will make a huge
impact on your accuracy, giving you a much more accurate measurement than the
straight line ditance to your target. The RX uses an inclinometer to measure
up and down hill shots, coupled with the ballistics of your projectile to give
you the equivalent horizontal range, and for rifle hunters, a
holdover/holdunder point or an MOA adjustment. No other rangefinder does so
much to help you make the shot of a lifetime.
Multiple Ballistic Settings
Part of what makes the Leupold RX
Series the first smart rangefinder for hunters is True
Ballistic Range. RX rangefinders are the only rangefinders to provide
accurate aiming information, matched to the performance of your rifle or bow.
By calculating the incline, line of sight range to the target, and a
projectile's ballistics, your RX Rangefinder provides rifle
hunters using Leupold BAS reticles as well as bow hunters the
correct equivalent horizontal distance for precise shooting on an incline. In
other words, aim using the True Ballistic Range, not the line
of sight range. Rifle hunters can also get this data as an MOA adjustment or a
holdover point. With practice, long distant/steep angle shooting will become
second nature.
Multiple modes
With the RX Series, you can do
something you can't do with any other rangefinder - use multiple modes
at once to tailor your readings to the conditions. Scouting a
whitetail in the rain? Use Rain Mode and 1st Target Mode at
the same time to achieve the most accurate range possible. Only RX
rangefinders give you the ability to adapt to changing conditions
like this. Leupold's exclusive Quick Set Rotary Menu is intuitive and
easy to use, giving you fast access to all the incredible performance modes of
your new RX rangefinder.
Long Range Mode gives range to more
distant targets rather than trees or other objects closer than 150 yards.
Great for ranging through brush and branches when you are concealed.
Rain Mode eliminates the
interference that plagues lesser rangefinders, filtering out the laser's
shorter "rain" readings for true downrange accuracy.
1st Target Mode displays the
distance of the closest object when more than one object may be read. With
other rangefinders, multiple objects often return an average distance, not an
accurate distance.
Last Target Mode displays the
distance of the farthest object when more than one object may be read. Last
Target Mode ignores brush, even close to the target, for superior accuracy.
Measurements in feet, yards, or meters
lets you choose how distances are displayed on the RX. When either meters or
feet are selected, range is displayed to one decimal place.
Line of Sight Distance gives you
the straight line distance to the target without applying the True Ballistic
Range information. The output is displayed in smaller numbers just below the
reticle.
Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature
readings let you choose which temperature scale you want to view your readings
in. Temperature is displayed in smaller numbers just below the reticle.
Incredibly accurate ranging to
within +/- one yard accuracy at all ranges, and the tree yard close range
measurement is the shortest you can find in any rangefinder.
Battery power indicator keeps you
on top of your battery level at all times. The common CR2 lithium camera
battery is easy to change in the field as well.
Rugged, waterproof, lightweight, and compact
design is built specifically for hunting. The rubber body armor
comfortably fits your hand for a secure grip in all weather conditions.
Accessories included: The useful
carrying case features a bungee/hook closure for silent operation in the
field, a battery, a dog clip for attaching to your pack, and an internal
pocket for carrying batteries, instructions and other items. Also includes a
lanyard. Tripod thread included, allowing steady mounting for accurate target
acquistion.
